I was going through reading the paci thread, but i have a question somewhat related, but yet completely unrelated hehe.
I have a soon to be year old son, my three year old was really easy going with everything it seemed, and learned how to eat regular foods and could drink milk with no problem at an early age, so the transition from formula to milk was easy easy going.
We're on wic, and of course planning to stay on it awhile longer, probably stop once he's old enough to eat regular foods, (just because I HATE sitting at the wic office) We didnt keep wic after my oldest turned a year old, so what is it they give you because I keep hearing they stop giving you formula once they hit a year old. My youngest isnt ready to get off the bottle by any means, his tummy doesnt handle milk product so I know we're looking at possibly having to do soy milk, but seriously when do you start taking them off of formula, do you just stop giving formula and start giving milk?
I really dont remember lol. I just remember that my oldest son was drinking milk and water around 9 months from sippy cups, and about 11 months was completely off of formula because the formula was hurting his tummy, (we had to switch soooo many times during his first year of life).
