Throw out the measuring tape

Because it lies.

I wanted to see if I could fit FF RN / RF RN / RF CA. According to the MEASUREMENTS I took of the free area, it should have fit. I should have had inches leftover. But due to the contours of the seat, IT. DID. NOT.
(The amount of space I had "available" was around 21.5"... CA is 18.5")

Of course it fit FF like a glove  like it was MADE for that spot. Thing is, I don't need it FF. If I wanted a FF seat there, it wouldn't be the CA. Then again, now I'm not sure what it'd be.

Good news is that both the BT Flex Loc and the Onboard 35 fit in the center, with tons of room on either side to spare. Of course that doesn't mean the Keyfit or Shuttle33 will fit, even though they are the "same width"...

Now what the heck do I do when the baby outgrows the infant seat? Get a third Radian??? A new car???

Oy, oy, oy.

There are several other combos I would try before buying a new car :) Right now I have RF RN/KF30/RF RN and it fits great... works well with one, or both, radians FF as well. The MR also puzzles really well next to the RN when in the same direction, I would try RF MR/RF RN/FF RN :)
