I just got the new issue of Parents and the Great Trade In event starts on January 28th and runs through February 21st. Same as before, trade in as many items as you want and recieve 25% off a new car seat, stroller, travel system, high chair, play yard, bassinet, crib or toddler bed.

25% doesn't seem that much with all the deals and coupons out right now That being said I totally have two expired seats in storage and I do need a toddler bed...

So wish they carried the radians in store.... I don't THINK there's anything I need this year but may have to go check anyway.

It's possible they can order it for you from the store and use the coupon. Dh just did that last week w/ a 20% item coupon and I wanted a highchair that they didn't have in store. Of course dh did it wrong so I canceled it anyways, but they ordered it from the store and used the coupon.

I have my ss1 just waiting to go back...

I'll have to see what else is out there pricewise once we finally get our tax return at the end of the month and then check to see if they can do it. Thanks for the tip!

Except the Maestro isn't usually on sale, and BRU finally has it.

Do you know if there are any restrictions as far as brands? Like you can never use coupons on Bugaboo or Peg Perego...wonder if they could order me one of those brands in store using the coupon?

I've been waiting for this sale for months because I have a BRU gift card and need a FR85.

Fisher Price is excluded...I think someone wanted a highchair last time and the coupon wouldn't work. I guess Maclaren and Britax are typically excluded from the regular old 20% coupons lately, not sure about the trade in this time (I haven't got my email yet...)

Can you turn in a car seat and get something else? Like a stroller? Or a high chair? I have about 7 car seats for my two kids... I don't need any more!

I know in the past you haven't been able to use the coupons for Baby Jogger, BOB and Bugaboo, I don't know which others brands don't participate though.

You can trade in any car seat, crib, stroller, packnplay, swing, I think High chair (any brand) and buy from their participating brands of baby gear, usually graco, evenflo, cosco, safety 1st, and I'm pretty sure Britax participated in past events.

The participating brands are: Babi Italia, Baby Cache', Baby Europa, Baby Trend, Bassett Baby Premiere, Bergamo, Britax, Carter's, Chicco, Combi, Contours by Kolcraft, Delta, Eddie Bauer, Evenflo, Graco, Jeep, Little Tikes, Safety 1st, S1 by Safety 1st, Signature Series by Graco, Sorelle, Step2, and Summer Infant.

And the ad does state that " pruchased items can be from different categories."
