Does Coccoro fit small babies...

well? I'm pregnant with my 2nd. My current setup is a rf CA for my 13 month old in a 2010 Nissan Versa. Obviously I need a small seat to fit two.

My ds was 5lbs 11 and 19 in long at birth. I know the coccoro will fit in a small car but will it fit tiny babies?

PS: The reason I imagine this baby will be tiny is I'm barely 4'11". Midwife agrees, but it is early!

Thanks!

YES! Very well. I know it is under the weight limit but my very good friend brought home her premiee trips in Coccoros and they were 4 lbs, 4.5 and 5 lbs. They NICU was very impressed with how well the babies fit in the seat.

I have a friend that just had a teeny tiny noob (birthweight 5 lbs 2 oz). She was discharged from the hospital today at 4 lbs 8 oz. The next time I see her I will see if I can try her out in my Coccoro to see how she fits.

My mom is 4'11" and I was 6 lbs 7oz at birth and my brother was 6 lbs 14 oz. Your next one might be bigger than the first. I have known some tiny women that have some not so tiny babies.

Yep, it fits little ones very well. DD was already 8 pounds when we got ours but it would have fit her much smaller. I did take off the harness covers at first though, The belly pad is attached and can not be removed and I felt the harness fit better without the extra pads. They are pretty long and thick, IMO.

Yep! I got mine for that reason. DS was so small that I had to borrow someone else's infant seat until he fit in our snugride two months later. I didn't want to do that again! When DS came home, he was the size of 2 of DD's baby dolls. When I got my CCO, I tried them in it and they fit amazingly well. Certainly didn't fit like that in the snugride. I was very impressed.

Again, yep! Tucker was 6lbs 2oz at discharge, and while he came home in a kf30, he fit the cco very well also.

nevermind the dirty cco cover, he arrived two weeks early, and I hadn't gotten everything ready ;)
