2009 Caravan??? CCO and Radian

Hi we might be buying one tonight, or this week, but I want to be sure my seats are going to work. I may or may not be able to try them first, we aren't buying from a dealership. It has 2 captains chairs then of course the bench in the back. My older boys will be in Parkways in the back...don't think we'll have any issue there. Then I plan to have my 3yr old RF in his Radian XTSL on one of the captains chairs...is the Radian compatible with this? Also will need it to be FF at some point there. Then we plan to buy a CCO for the new baby but don't have it yet so def can't try it, do these work RF in the captains chairs too?

Also are there RF tether points for the Radian in this vehicle?

I have an '09 GC. As mentioned above, the Radian is a great install and is acceptable either FF or RF (FANTASTIC RF install) in the captain's chair (I've never installed mine in the 3rd row). The RF tether location is fairly simple (for capts chairs), it's the bar thingie that runs across this way ________ under the front seats. Oh, I see the link above...that certainly explains it a lot better.:p

I needed a noodle to be comfortable with my CCO (only installed it RF). There's a pretty dramatic slope/slant on the seats. And I didn't use the lower anchors, I MUCH preferred the seatbelt install, with the around-the-back routing.

ETA: The PWs are a good fit in the 3rd row. We have been through a zillion and 4 boosters and the PW is pretty much the only one I like. We had tipping issues (mostly, I think, due to the headrest being adjusted so high - my DS is 8) and seatbelt bunching in the shoulder guides. My DS rides center now and we've resolved all of the issues. The center seatbelt is wonky, but it works well with the PW due to the narrow-ish base.

Hope that helps. :)

Thank you both!

Hopefully we won't have tipping issues with the parkways since they will need to each be outboard so they can easily buckle themselves.

Glad to hear there are RF tether points, our current car doesn't so I'll be glad we can do that now.

I'll keep that in mind for the CCO, I'm probably going to need it for sure then to get a good angle for newborn, good thing baby is due in June so hopefully they will be out in the stores again by May so I can make sure it's installed good in there before baby is due.
