Top tether help for Evenflo Generations/Bolero

Hi, I'm asking for my friend. She has an Evenflo Generations/Bolero. I'm not sure exactly which one but I found it on the picture guide. I was talking to her about seats and we both thought that the seat may be expired so when we were leaving work she uninstalled it and looked. It doesn't expire until Dec. 2011. I noticed that it wasn't tethered and I mentioned that it should be. She asked what we needed to do. I told her but when she went to hook the tether it came out of the back of the seat.

There were two slots. What I'm trying to figure out is how does this tether attach to the seat. She doesn't have the manual. Is there one available online or can someone help me.

    Thanks
