Well the title says it all. I have a wind up swing for Colton and it broke today. Its to old for graco to do anything about it. I am so sad, he is too, that is the only way i can put him down if his brothers aren't in here. Such a sad day(LOL), guess i am on the hunt for a wind up swing, for some reason he is scared of the motor on the battery operated swings. Anybody got one they'll send me, i'm desperate here:crying:

i haven't seen a wind of one in a while. How did it brake?

I know you can get them on EBay, but they are like $52-$54. I don't know how it broke, it pops when you wind it all the way up and then swings for 15 minutes. Now it doesn't pop or stop winding and when you push it to swing, it will just swing down in like 2-3 minutes. It sucks so bad it quit, but it is so cute when he grabs the toy bar and kind of jumps in it to try and get it to swing, but he gets mad after a few attempts and it doesn't work.

Awww. Poor little guy.

I have a wind up swing that's been in storage many years, but somehow I don't think shipping from Canada to the US would make it worth the expense.

Try a cradle swing, babies LOVE those! The motor is really quiet on the aquarium cradle swing, maybe he will like it?

I actually have one and he doesn't like it either. We have bought 3 or 4 different battery operated swings and he just screams when we turn them on.

I am going to talk to FIL this weekend about getting me one, he knows how much little man loves his swing so maybe he will have mercy on us and help me get one!
