Alright - title says it all.... if belt fit was excellent in both - which would you buy? and why?

I tried a TB and the back being floppy was driving me crazy..... But the shortness of the Vivo seat bothers me and it is harder to buckle....

So..... help me! :p

TB. i can figure out a way to deal with floppy back by holding the seat by the armrest & the back against your body.

the shortness of seat on vivo & buckling is not something that you can "fix". its just the way it is.

I like the vivo better. It adjusts several inches taller than the turbo. It's side wings are bigger and the seat is very solid. My kids haven't had an issue with the short seat. In fact, my older dd was more uncomfortable with her thighs hanging off the turbobooster than sloping off the vivo. The turbobooster has cupholders and converts to a backless, though. I chose the vivo and sold all my turboboosters.

My ds perfered the TB to the Vivo (we sold the Vivo months ago). He hated the wings on the Vivo and even got car sick in it which I believe was due to the fact that he couldn't see past the wings. It was also harder to buckle. He is currently using two high back TB's.

I'm late to the party, but I vote Vivo every time... I LOVE LOVE LOVE how soft it is, how tall it goes, and how well it fits growing kids (as compared to the old style parkway)

I agree with the PP who said TB because you can't "fix" the things you don't like about the Vivo. You really do learn quickly to always pick up a TB by the armrest and brace it against your body that way; it's really not that big a deal. When I first got online and realized people complained about it, I was really confused, because I'd forgotten they did that.

TB, because the Vivo is no longer made it'll probably already be a couple years old and expire sooner. So the TB is your better value.

The Vivo is still made, as far as I know.

I love the beltfit on the Vivo. I used both. Liked both, got rid of both.

We love the Vivo. It goes surprisingly tall for a booster that fits littles so well. It is harder to buckle I suppose, but with regard to the short seat depth, it's sloped downward and almost ergonomic in a sense. A prefers it to any booster she's had because of that. It allows her very long legs to slope down and rest on the seat of the car, not dangle off the edge of the seat of the booster. So because of the design of the short seat, it actually ended up being a pro rather than a con for us.
I also like the deeper wings for sleeping compared to the turbo. A had some slump in the turbo that made me uncomfortable (she was younger though) and the wings in the vivo hold her in and up.

If I could do it over I would choose the Vivo, TB didn't last long, but then again my DD is older than your DS. But my friend has the Vivo for her very small 5yr and I like it better than the TB, sturdier, better SIP.

Turbo. But just for the buckling aspect. We had a Vivo and I couldn't stand buckling the thing. My DD would unbuckle when we stopped and try to pull the belt out of the belt path and it'd get stuck everytime. I know that's not an issue for everyone but it drove us nuts enough that we sold it.

The turbo for us works excellent. She no longer weighs enough to really use it but when she was a bit chunkier I had zero complaints about it

I like the turbo better than the vivo. The vivo has some good points- higher back, nicer cover, good belt fit, etc., but the Turbo is easier to buckle and fits amazingly well in every 3-across I've ever tried. I can't get the vivo into any 3-across due to the hardness of buckling. And it doesn't always fit. In fact, since we have 3-across in all 3 vehicles we use, the vivo will be sold soon.
