Which 40lb RF seat has the most legroom?

DD is RF'ing in her XTSL right now, but is just now starting to complain about being "squished". She weighed in at 33lbs and 38.5 inches on Wednesday. I just measured her torso and it looks to be about 15.5".

She has outgrown the 40lb RF'ing Scenera by height for reference.

Would the CA65 give her more room?

With clothes on, she's most likely over the 35lbs weight limit of our True Fits, and the Marathons she's outgrown by height as well.

I thought the Radian had the most out of the 40lb rf seats?

Nannymom did a comparison with pics here of a bunch of different seats:

I don't know if the CA she used was the CA65 or the older one, but not sure they would be a huge difference in legroom between the 2. (ETA: looks like they have the same dimensions http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=150644)

Obviously, you might get different results in your car . . .

Looking at the measurements page, the Radian has the most seat depth. Does the install make a difference?

I could probably make it a little more reclined. I noticed when it was installed in the center of my MIL's car I couldn't get it as upright as I can in my SUV and she had more legroom. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, I think the radian has the most.

Here is a picture of Elizabeth in the CA

and one of her in the radian around the same age.

The Radian has the most, followed by the Evenflo seats. Does she put her legs over the sides? The more reclined the CA is, the more legroom it has, but still not more than the Radian.

Definitely the Radian. I tried ds in the EFTA65, MyRide, Blvd70, CA and he was the least squished in the Radian :)

Personally, at three with comfort complaints, I'd be okay turning ff. In my vehicle, the CA and XTSL had very similar legroom.:twocents:
