I saw both these carseats at my biglots yesterday
they both still weren't expired though. One was good till 2014, I guess they are still manufacturing these dinosaurs

According to the car seat pictorial, the touriva is still being manufactured. I believe Big Lots is the only place that sells it. Perhaps it is also used as a program seat?

well maybe not a dinosaur, it just seems we have come so far in car seats since they started manufacturing those seats. Of course I am new to this whole carseat buying thing. Last spring I saw a OHS scerena at a place in my hometown called "magic mart" now that was scary

The Uptown is a great seat. If I needed a 40# convertible, it would be on my list. Great gender-neutral cover, too.
