boosters hitting the roof..

I searched and can not find the answer I need. The GN right now just skims the roof in my van in the third row. I am buying DS1 a frontier 85 and wonder about the restrictions. Is it allowed to hit the roof? I do have other positions with more roof room but that usually means fighting:cool:..

Thanks for the help!

I didn't see anything in the manual about touching the roof. But if I had the option, I would put the seats in places where there was the most roof room. :twocents:

I think once I get the Frontier I will be able to put him rear center and then there is more head room. On the side of my van the roof slopes. I can also move him to the middle next to DS2 in the Frontier because I won't have to try and buckle between the seats.

Another questions.. Seats side by side.. Is it okay if they are firmly touching or should there be room between the seats?

The seats can touch as long as they are securely installed independent of each other.

To check that, you install one completely, then install the other. Then you take out the first and make sure the second is properly and securely installed. Then put the first back in.
