baby shopping in the chicago area..

My sister lives in the Downers grove area and is expecting a baby! (yeah! I'm so excited to be an auntie!!) I am going out to help her shop... she is baby gear clueless and wants some help..

Any stores in the area that people like? I know of the buybuybaby and babies r us in the area.. but wondered if there are some other shops people like?

If you know somewhere we should go, please let me know!

She is looking for stores that would have lots of different strollers to try and such, and maybe some different carriers to try on and such..

I am not familiar with where downers grove is, but there is a super awesome baby store on michigan avenue. I stopped in while I was there and they had the frontier 85, oobr, and prosport when they were brand new and all the top of the line strollers. I was in heaven looking around.

I am going to try and figure out the name and location of the store and let you know.

Thanks ladies!!! The store looks promising!! I want her to get to see/try out a lot of things and this store looks like it will be helpful!! I will be out there the first weekend in Feb.. I will def report back :) (im such a dork, Im so excited to go baby gear shopping! The only thing better will be when the baby is here!!)
