Carseat issues!

Agh! Just when I was satisfied with the "new" carseats purchased for my kiddos...

My son (just turned 7, 49" 50lbs) is in a Monterey loves it except can NOT fine a good position for sleeping. He knows how to sleep with his head back and it has never ever been an issue except with the monterey. Sooo I will be buying a new booster soon. We will be moving 2500 miles as soon as school ends and a booster he can sleep in will be top priority! I am saving my pennies now. Anyone have any suggestions? Probooster? Clek Oobr?

My daughter (just turned 4, 36lbs) is FF in a Radian xtsl. We have no issues with it except I hate reading the bad reviews. :eek: I need another seat for my husbands truck. I have thought about Frontier, Nautilus & Probooster. The evenflo maestro is not on my list.. I like more eps foam.

Also, where do I find test results on carseats?

I should add we love the monterey for everyday. We have no problems with it except for long trips or when he is really tired. We do need an extra booster anyway so YAY! I get to shop.

There are no test results on carseats. They've all passed testing.

Your choices sound good. I might add the Parkway SG as a possible booster.

I have the same trouble with my 6yo who is in a Monterey. It's not the seat's fault -- my 8yo sleeps perfectly in it. I'm getting a Frontier for 6yo so I can harness him. Would that work for you? You'd be able to pass it down to your daughter so it wouldn't be a huge loss if he didn't use it for very long.

@Wendy Thanks, I know they have all passed testing but isn't there a site that tells you the results/numbers on the seats? btw By telling me all are good seats, you didn't help at all LOL

@Keeanh
I am not sure how he would feel about being harnessed again. He sits perfectly in a booster. Actually, I think it would be a def no. I wish there was a store close by that had the probooster or the Oobr so I could try him in them. It is so hard to tell which one has deeper sides or lined with the most eps foam on websites.

I still need an extra seat for my daughter. The radian is staying put. lol I do not want to move it back and forth from my van to my husband's truck all the time.
