switched DD to backless today

I knew it was coming, for some time now. Her shoulder is dead even with he belt guide of her JANE HBB. Her head sticks out the top, and she complains of feeling "squished and crowded" in it. Technically she has one more notch to go up, but then the headrest hits the roof, and the belt guide is HIGHER than where the seatbelt comes out of the car. Kinda silly looking.Plus the seatbelt keeps twisting horribly when she buckles. Not sure if it has anything to to with her outgrowing it. But now the seatbelt has been so whacked out it doesn't retract in quickly and smoothly like it used to. .:(

She does fit in the backless well....she is 8 in Feb, 64 lbs and 52".

Just thought I'd post here since no one I know IRL cares since all their kids were out of booster entirely right after Kindergarten:thumbsdown:Thanks for listening.

Oh the Jane booster :love::love:!!
I loved that booster! I feel your pain though :( My dd1 is 7.5y/o and has just about outgrown her TB, hates the Oobr :hitselfonhead:, has outgrown the Harmony Dreamtime so....
I'm trading one of my Radians for a FR80 for her to use in booster mode :rolleyes:

Aww, but that's awesome you got her this far in a high-back! I bet she feels pretty cool in her backless now... just one more step until the adult seatbelt! :eek:

I had my Jane for a short time because when I finally was able to use it the headrest wouldn't stay in position, it would just fall down :mad: SO, dd2 rode in like twice

that is what we are doing with Julianna now a FR80 in booster mode, it works perfectly for her.. Once Fiona goes into a booster full time Julianna will just get a backless turbo and Fiona will get the frontier back.. unless she is still a super light weight, then she will booster in the GN lol
