Ordering online and expiration dates

I have some target gift cards and was going to order a myride from target.com. Are the manufacture dates recent when you order online? Does the myride have a 6 year expiration? I'm getting tired off stuffing my dd in a baseless infant seat (the only way it fits) but I want to make it until she around 6 in her convertable.

I ordered my Coccoro from Target.com. I was concerned about the manufacture date like you are. Only a few weeks had elapsed from the DOM to when it was in my hands. If you are not happy with the DOM of the seat you receive then you can always return it to the store rather than shipping it back.

I orginally ordered my Coccoro from diapers.com, in August, and it arrived with a July 2009 DOM! They took it back no problem and I bought BRU (online) instead. That's been an isolated incident, though - any other time I've ordered online, the DOM has been reasonable.
