I'm annoyed by Dorel/Safety 1st

I just want a replacement harness for the Avenue. I tried to email them. Everytime I tried to send, I had missed a required field, and everytime they SAY you missed a required field, they delete all your fields, and your message. Okay, dumb. My fault, but annoying. So finally I get it sent, and today, my email has been returned as undeliverable. Grrr.

So I decide to call. Guess what? They're closed for lunch.

LOL, how frustrating.

The one and only time I had to contact DJG was for a friend's seat, trying to purchase a top tether extension strap for her. It was a real pain in the butt, first just trying to get through, then trying to get the CS rep to understand what I was asking for.

I hope you get through soon!

The e-mail thing annoyed me so much I just called. It took 3 tries but I got through eventually.

I had the same thing happen with their email (came back as undeliverable), but a few days later did get an email response from them.

Oh my gosh.. I have had those days.. I don't understand why customer service is not more customer friendly..

I hope you get what you need.... Idgits...

I think their CS sucks. I have been trying for 4 months to get a new cover for on of the OnBoards, cause the cover was damaged when they arrived in the mail. Andy never calls back when he says hes going to and when I get ahold of him, he hasn't a clue where its at. I am just irrated with it.

I got an email back from Dorel - confused why, since it was supposedly undeliverable. Anyway - $48 and change for a harness for the Avenue - and a latch strap. I was surprised. Really, I thought it would be half that.

That's what I was thinking. I only paid the $18 for mine. Maybe I'll just give dd that. I'll look around a bit.
