I loved it BUT...Its the UK model so 3pt harness...Plus it needs the 3pt vehicle seat belt, as the shoulder portion needs to go round the back of the seat even when the seat is used with the base! I did love the orange though.. TRU aslo had the Venieza and P3 in the same fabric. Its a good thing it wasn't the black!

Anyway I am leaning towards the SS1, but I did like how tiny the Primo Viaggio could adjust, and it was super easy to do... It did take me a few seconds to find the release to get it out of the base though!

Of course my problem is if I ever want to fly with it I need one with the CMVSS logo so that means getting one from Canada and getting it shipped over. Though I really don't see what the CMVSS logo does for airline worthy-ness but it helps when flying from Canada.

I have the chicco artisian, which is basically what you're describing. 3pt harness, you have to install it with a european seatbelt and its orange too. I think its a great seat, easy to use and mine goes up to 32lbs. If I had another baby I would use it just because I don't use infant seats for very long so I wouldn't pay $100+ when I have the chicco and the only thing I really don't like about it is no base.
