DS loved his Christmas Present (Frontier 85)

He couldn't wait to ride in it! I'm so glad I bought it. I kept thinking it was too upright for him right now but I didn't realize until I took it out of the box and started playing with it how reclined it really is with the harness. In fact it's MORE reclined than his Priori was in the upright FF position and it's almost as reclined and the Priori is in the full FF recline position (which isn't really much of a recline). He sleeps well in it too. We are both very happy with it and now I'm bying one for DH's car!

Has anyone had any issues installing the Frontier 85 in a 2005-2009 Honda Accord 4 door?

I installed one for a friend today and was really surprised how small the Fr85 is compared to my regents. It is nice though...

So, is better to install too? I am afraid to get a Frontier. I *hated* the regent but it was what worked at the time for DD1. The install was the worst.

Really! I guess i always thought they were really upright too, and still a beastly seat. DD1 has a regent already so i have no need to buy one now, but those covers have me drooling!!!

He's a little over 2.5 and 30 lbs. We got Redrock, DS picked it out. He wants the Blue one for DH's car. I like the cow print but I was afraid we'd get tired of that and this car seat should last us a LONG time!

All this pictures and on display they are set up as they would be without the harness. Directions say to use the harness it has to be reclined. In the smallest, shortest settings it's really more similar to a convertible seat FF than a booster. I was pleasantly surprised since I didn't really feel my son was big enough to be in a true harnessed boosted. If we had more room in our cars he'd be in a larger RFing seat but we had enough trouble fitting the Maxi Cosi Priori RFing in our cars. He made it to 2 yrs 4 months RFing but he;s grown like a weed since he turned 2

I've got an '07 Accord and my DS has a FR85. I didnt spend a whole lot of time trying, but I couldnt get it in shortbelt path. Longbelt path is super easy though. DS is over the LATCH limit so I havent tried that but I can if you'd like me to.

Thanks! I'll probably try Latch first but it's good to know that at least one way does work well. To get the blue one I have to order from Amazon and I don't want to have to deal with shipping it back so I wanted to ask here first.

Although, since DH tends to keep his cars forever maybe I should just do the long belt from the get go so I don't have to worry about it when DS gets bigger.
