Pat on my back

Yesterday while on a flight and installing DS's Radian I noticed behind us a tiny probably three-year-old in a booster. I politely told her grandparents she was traveling with that boosters weren't meant to be used with a lap only belt and the reason why. At this point the very nice flight attendant heard our conversation and came over to confirm and they agreed to gate check the seat. I thought "yeah maybe I didn't need to stick my nose in their business, it's a flight different from a car ride, what would happen?" Well I'm so glad I did! Upon landing we stopped very hard, I hit my head on the seat in front of me. I can only imagine what might have happened to the girl if she had stayed in the booster!

On a side note when we came to such an abrupt stop a ton of the little bottles of booze came rolling down the aisle and the FA came on the speaker and said to keep whatever you found!

hahaha on the booze. Glad they listened. Sometimes those helpful comments are taken the worst way. :) Only bad thing: Stinks that at their destination that 3 year old would be in booster. But maybe, just maybe, since you shared something with them they didn't know, they'll figure there might just be something else they don't know and go looking it up.

Good for you! And nice about the booze. ;)

I too am sad that the kid will probably be using the booster in a car, though.

Yeah I pick my battles. I did tell them to find a tech to help them so hopefully they'll seek out the info to keep their grand daughter safer.
