ETA: made the pics smaller, click if you want them larger it should work..??

Not perfect pics or anything, just wanted to show my little comparison of the seats :)

DS in the TFP (approx 5" above his shoulder to the top harness slot)

DS in the CA 65 (just under 6" from shoulder to highest harness slot-in pic the tape measure is crooked sorry!)

-----

DD in the TFP:

she has approx. 1.5" left under the top harness slot:

in the CA65:

she has about 1.5" here as well.:

and here is how much strap is left over w/DD in the seat (CA):

I did notice they seem to sit differently in these seats as they are not the same. DD is 5 in 2weeks, and DS is almost 3 and a half.

the CA65 is going back to kohls because it has 2" less space between the harness straps at the neck than the britax regent (had one near by to check) and DS says its "Choking his neck..take it off" and sure enough he had red marks just from being measured in the seat..DD said the same thing. So i ordered DS a TF in black aurora to replace this as i know the TF does well in my car and he has tons of room :)

see, and that's so funny, because Ruthie (but she's a skinny minnie) said she loved the harness pads on the CA because they "keep my neck cozy" when she tried out the CA... every kid is different, though... and good that he let you know what he prefers.

I just sold my TF and put Keiani in the CA65 because she was 32lbs and I did not want to worry about her going over the 35lbs RF limit. I would say even thought he is so small to get the Maestro since he is already used to FF.

i ended up ordering a TF in Casino for DS  and an extra cover off swap from a mama and it ended up costing me LESS than the CA65 TOTAL!!! i price matched the TF from amazon to diapers.com so i wouldnt have to pay tax, and then got the replacement cover for 35..so it was only 2 bucks less total..but still haha im bummed the CA didnt work for us but oh well and im thinking i will turn DS FF once the TF is here because he wants to watch the dvd player and he will be able to give the baby her paci:love:
