Nothing in the 3 across thread... I know these seats aren't the most common, but I'm hoping maybe somebody has tried something. New seats are an option but I really like this infant seat, so let me know if you have any ideas! A friend is borrowing it for the next few months, so I won't be able to try combinations myself very easily.

3 across with a compass infant seat?

Well, I sold mine last year...if I remember correctly, it might be pretty difficult to do a three across with it in all but the largest backseats. I never needed to do 3 across w/it, but I did try to side by side it in my van and a friends, and I could install the base, no problem, but not get the carseat in and out of the base. Part of it sticks so far out on the sides it interfered w/the other seat. It might have been the metal attachments for the stroller it matches.

Not what I wanted to hear... but, thanks, Henrietta! If it comes to it, I might be "forced" to get a new keyfit or something.... 
Maybe I'll get lucky and find something that will puzzle with the widest part. (I know what you're talking about with those metal thingies - they do sort of stick out.)
