Got my carseat checked today.

I've had the Radian since Christmas and I was fairly confident with the install that I had. The opportunity came up to get it checked by a CRST so Rylan and I went this afternoon. The tech said "perfect chest clip and wow is that a tight install." She didn't want to uninstall the seat because she wasn't sure she would get it back in as tight, lol. We uninstalled it anyway so I could show her the safestop (which I don't use because he is over the weight limit for it) that was stored on the back of the seat...except it wasn't there as I think it is in the coat closet. The tech will be one of the instructors for the CRST course that Aidensmom and I are taking in May.

Good job on your install!!! Doesn't it make you feel good when you're told you have it in there correct and they don't think they could reinstall it as good, lol!!

She also said that she learned a few things from me today and is looking forward to me bringing my Radian to the course, said I could give the presentation on it, lol, what if she is serious??? I said I would love to install it rearfacing and tethered just to learn how to do it.

I'll be there with both my MA and my Radian - I have two of each, so I can leave a set with DH and take a set with me. I love installing this seat... people say it's difficult to install, so I keep finding different vehicles to try it in. I haven't met one yet, I can't install it in somehow.:)

Good job on the instal. Just out of curiosity, who is it that us Northerners take the course through? The seat checks are usually through St. Johns, so are they the ones that give the course?

Not St. John's (and they couldn't even tell me how to find more info). Saskatchewan Prevention Institute of all places...don't even ask me how I managaged to find that out, I can't remember.
