true fit eps along the lower sides

is it an issue if this separates from the seat after time? Learning curve replaced my true fit once because this happened and the eps actually broke while I was testing the install.. well my new one is now seperated from the seat again at the bottom but not broken.. I honestly think it is fine but I want to be sure.

I can always call them and see what they say but honestly I don't want to deal with the sending it back issue, they are the worst ime.. they never send the label or anyone out to get the seat even though they want it back no matter how many times you call, finally I just tossed the old seat out after 3 months of tripping over it.. and 4 phone calls to them.

This has also happened with my True fit, just a few days ago. I placed my dd into her seat and heard a popping sound, when I took her out and removed the cover I saw that the epp foam had seperated from the plastic shell. I don't know if this is a safety issue, as obviously the foam is meant to be attatched to the shell, but I'm dreading calling about it because I hate LC's CS.
