favorite cover for infant seat?

I was thinking of buying one for my cousin whose dd is in the bucket with the insert and zip up cover. She said that she realizes it is not approved but had not seen another that would keep her Lo warm enough.

I was wondering if you know what would fit her Graco Safeseat. I know it was bought new in 2007.

I found some threads but they were older and I was not sure if the products would be the same now.

Thanks.

Mine is a Cozy Cover (similar to Walmart's current style for sale)

It does fit on the SS1, its tight, but works for its purpose. It isn't fleece, but works great. DS carries a receiving blanket with him to suck on  so that is the only blanket he has with him.

He is usually sweating in there by the time we get where we are going too!

Thanks! I will go look. I have not looked for covers in a long time and when I did all I remember were the same one that she has now.. because I had it too.. :( . Since she made the comment, I think she would love a new one but doesn't want to spend the moola.. ;)

JJ Cole has recently come out with a shower-cap style cover http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4389487

I've also seen another kind of shower-cap style cover at BRU with a waterproof coating on the outside. I can't find it online though.

Also, your friend can keep the one she's currently using if she cuts the back out so there isn't anything interfering with the strap placement or behind the baby to compress in a crash. That's what I chose to do once I learned my beloved Bundle Me wasn't safe. :twocents:

Thanks! That what it is called. I could not remember.

I will tell her!

I just checked and they have it in Pink!!! She had a little girl but is still using all the stuff from babyboy1.

She will love it! Thanks so much! One more thing.. It will fit that seat?

I recently purchased cozy covers for my 9 month old twins who ride in snugride 22's. I think it would be tight on a safe seat (they are almost maxing out these seats and it was pushing on their head and such...just didn't work).

I have an Easy Cover in hot pink , but want the new JJ Cole cover so badly! Ever since someone linked a pic to it mos ago I have been watching for it. I'm sure it will come to Canada just in time for spring. I love that the front portion folds back completely.

Thanks for all the replies! I don't know anything about seat size from seat to seat so that was my concern.

I have a Jolly Jumper shower cap style cover on my Keyfit and it fits like a glove. Exterior is waterproof with fleece on the inside. There is a little window flap with a ziiper on each side to get DD in and out. Love it!
