    Re: Nania brand?

I'm afraid I don't know for sure if Nania seats were ever sold in Canada, but according to the pictorial, Car Seat Specialty was the parent company of Nania (seats were also sold under the names Safety Baby and Strolee. It also says, "see Combi" so maybe Combi bought them out? Hopefully someone who knows more with chime in. All I know is that Nania seats are almost certainly expired. Production of all of the seats I could find in the pictorial ended in 2004.

I think in the US they are institutional seats. They are also Team Tex, and I have 2 of their seats.

    Re: Nania brand?

Nania was actually a very common brand in the US for booster seats, anyways. The Airway was popular, as well. Never sold in Canada, as far as I'm aware. I believe everything from them should be expired as of this year.

    Re: Nania brand?

In the US, some Nania seats are being distributed again. They're most often distributed as Team Tex now, but I saw a current Nania seat at KIM at an institutional distributor's table. And in Europe it's a current brand. So yeah, probably not Canadian, but possibly not expired.

    Re: Nania brand?

Can I post a link to the ad here? There's a picture on it of the seat. I've reported it to the kijiji however, it's still there. I hope no one buys it!

The Nania one definately looks European. No chestclip, and big harness pads.

I like the hb Turbo cover.
