I am torn, Im preg due May and swear by graco but i only like the snug ride, and ALL the boy ones i like are back adjust and this time i REALLY want front adjust, even though i am pretty fast at readjusting its just easier with newborns ya know dont feel like you are going to break their arm... kwim... ok so my question, do you think i can take a back adjust and put the cover on a front adjust and just cut a little slit and sew around the edge or it so it dont fray?? im pretty sure... i dont see the harm in it... anyone have inputs? ( im not sure if im having a boy but i want to get this question out of the way, i was thinking taking the brentwood and putting it on the pippin ( i think the plastic is the same color)

wendy, I think she meant just changing out the cover. Buying a back adjust cover, and cutting a slit for the adjuster.

I'm not sure whether it would work or not, honestly.

Ah, gotchya. I can see that working.

Sorry, I misread it to mean actually changing a rear adjust to a front adjust seat.

Still large for me. I deleted my cookies, too. We'll see what happens later. Sometimes it takes a while.

Do you have the screws in your TB?

you can switch the covers :) as long as the back adjust cover you put on the front adjust seat is from a seat w/the same weight limit..the 20lbs older seat covers dont fit the 22lb newer shells :)

I like the animal covers that are back adjust. I don't have any kids so it doesn't matter. But I totally want Tango in the Tongo or On the Run if I ever need one.

you can definitely order a cover and canopy set for a rear-adjust and use it on the same model front-adjust... you don't even really need to cut the slit... just let the strap hang down below the cover... and push on the cover in the right spot to depress the button... but it would probably be easier to cut the slit.

and I notice in your pictures that it looks like the headrests of your Nauti's are possibly not in the right setting... they need to be set above the slots... not touching/covering them.... otherwise, your straps may be below the kids' shoulders... and need moved up.

your daughter's seat appears to still have the "infant" padding in... im pretty sure it can only be used w/ the first harness slots... :)

I currently have a back adjust cover on a front adjust seat. It works perfectly fine and I didn't cut the slit! The seat is a play seat for dd and will soon be a back-up seat for my new neice and eventually new nephew.
