No thread harness VS Continuing harness?

I am not sure if I even got the terms correct, but what's the difference between those harnesses?

Thanks in advance!

They're different. For instance, my TFP has a no thread continuous harness. An old Marathon has a rethread non continuous harness.

No thread, or no rethread means you don't need to remove the harness from the splitter plate and rethread it through slots in the seat. Either like the new Britaxes or Dorels that have handles that move a headrest up and down, or like the TFP, or the Evenflo convertible line. Other seats, like the Nautilus, Coccoro, Roundabout, etc. have a rethread harness.

A continuous harness is one piece of material from end to end, instead of two (one for each side). So if you pull at the hip the other side will shorten. The Dorel seats have continuous harnesses, so do the True Fits. Not sure who else off the top of my head.
