"Kids by the dozen" tv show.

Dad: "it's good that we have the bus because if one of the kids falls asleep they can just lay down".

Cut to shot of 4yr old asleep on a bench seat. then to one 11mth-old twin in an expired bucket (3pt harness!) and the other twin in a FF 3pt harness seat!

From the shots shown it didn't look like the bus seating had ANY seatbelts, so who knows if the seats were even installed. Let alone the other 6 or so kids that should have been in some form of restraint/booster that didn't have a seatbelt at all.

Speechless.

Amazing isn't it? I think some people think the bigger the car the safer it is... however a sleeping child on a bench, is a bad thing in a bad crash. no matter what size the car is.

poor kids.

Well, the bus probably is waaaay safer than a car, or van, or whatever, really. I wouldn't do it, but in many states buses, even privately owned, aren't even included in the seatbelt laws.

I must say the Duggars have gotten waaaay better about car seat usage since their last was born. Now, they're far from perfect, but tons better than they were before.

Was this the show on TLC? Where did you watch it? I used to love that show!

Or am I thinking the wrong show?

Either way, the carseat usage on some TV shows is just terrible.

It was on Disc Home and Health in Aus last night. It was about the 'Jeub' family.
I hate seeing bad carseat usage, but at the same time cannot look away!
