and it wasn't a dream! Monday in between my appointment with the dermatologist in the afternoon and my trip to the ER at 11pm I had a glorious time playing at Hello Baby (http://www.hellobaby.ca/). For carseats they had a Britax Marathon, Roundabout and a Parkway booster and Peg Perego infant seats (not sure if there were others). She said that she sells lots of Marathons. But when I asked her if many people were using them RF to the limits she said not really, her own child RF until 15 months (I guess that's a start). :( She knew about the new Recaro Signo and said that she had seen one at last years ABC kids product convention in Vegas? She told me that Transport Canada is raising the FF limits in Canada. She really knew her stuff. For strollers there were Pegs, Phil & Ted with the toddler seat below, Zoopers, Mountain Buggy ($589 Canadian before taxes/$522 US), an $1100 bugaboo :jaw: , Quinny's, Chameleon. No Maclaren's. :(

The Mountain Buggy is only rated to 70lbs in Canada because the material doesn't meet the Canadian codes (it goes to 100lbs everywhere else). Exact same stroller. I'm really liking the Mountain Buggy out of everything she had (Rylan is 46.6lbs and has a seizure disorder, a stroller would help out tremendously in containing his energy that has no regard for safety, keeping him happy for doctor's visits and saving my back). She didn't have the City Series (Baby Trend I think is the one I was looking at online). So now I need to do some comparision shopping (exchange rate, taxes, shipping, etc).

She and the other owner were also planning on taking the CRST (Canadian Tech course) but they are too busy trying to get some of the store things sorted out.

So at least Monday afternoon I had a great time, lol.

ETA - Forgot that they also have the Ergo carrier (I think $119) and she said I could bring Rylan in to try it and the stroller out. I'm positive I wouldn't be getting the Ergo but it would be nice to try it. I think that Rylan's feet would almost hit the floor since I'm only 5'1", lol. She also had a 42" tall babygate ($139) but it was pressure mount only and I need a taller gate for the top of my stairs. It was so nice to get a feel for all of these things.

That sounds so fun! I love my mountian buggy! I was using it mostly for my 3 year old who is around 37 lbs but now the baby is using it more and more. My second son is 8 now but when he was 5 and 6 he liked to ride in it every once in a while and he fit fine. Once I had to put him in it, I walked to school to get the kids and he looked HORRIBLE! He looked like he was about to fall over and there was no way he could have walked the mile home so I put him in the stroller and Benjamin who was 2 at the time walked.
