So, do I do it?

I told dh nearly 2 years ago that ds couldn't FF until he was three.... I HAVE 11 DAYS!!!!:eek::eek:

He is 39" and 30.5lbs in an xtsl... I have no "reason" to ff him. Maybe MSK's pics will help change dh's mind?

I guess I should add... I was just going to not do it and pray dh had forgotten. Last night he discovered that, yes, it is easier to buckle a kid in a fleece in a harness. He buckled the 5yo last night and was suprised that he didn't want to adjust the harness from where I'd set it without his jacket on his body... I accidently popped out "well, it is because he is ff and the straps are above his shoulders giving the jacket some room, and they can only be above the shoulders when ff."... I didn't think... Why don't I think?

If you don't really care either way, go ahead and flip him.

If you want to keep him RF, wait until DH says something. Then tell him that until/unless he has some evidence that FF is safer, you're just going to stick with the status quo and keep him RF.

Does your DH have a reason for wanting him FF?

Of course I care. :p He's my baby still.

Dh gets it, but he just doesn't like the entire jacket issue. He helps me load up in the mornings when I work and he HATES having to take ds's jacket off.

There was one day that I let him adjust the harness and it was tight with his jacket on, but to make a point I took the jacket off and you could undo the chest clip and slide ds out.

He's just in a fleece? Then that doesn't need to come off -- it won't compress in a crash. He can ride in the fleece.

Tell him some new research came out since you decided on age 3 and its now proven to be safer to rf until age 132 (or 4 or 5 or whatever you want).
