taurus would be an 01, so from that year until 2009 i believe they are the same body style. the impala is an 08 or 09, but the new and old body styles are pretty similar. a friend of mines excuse for having her 3 year old in a backless booster is because she cant fit 3 across in her and her mothers cars . i tried to tell her but she basically has the attitude of ill believe it when i see it. hoping a few pictures would help.

I know I have some somewhere. But, um, boosters work against you in a 3 across.

Here's one. You can see the RF Scenera (it was installed with LATCH, so I could have had wider seats if I used seatbelt), FF Radian, Nautilus. It's an 08ish Impala

If it wasn't so cold I would go install my ma70 ra50 and I'm almost pretty sure I can get my old style parkway in my 01 taurus and take a picture.

I don't have pictures but the Impala is so big it has 3 sets of LATCH, and none of them overlap!

No pics but my DH's last car (with 3 kids) was an 03 Taurus. Mine was an 05 Impala. We don't have either car anymore

Both could easily do 3 across but the Impala I felt was bigger and easier.

Wish I had some pics. Sorry!
