WWYD? Issue w/ Compass infant seat.

Okay, so my stickers came off (or are coming off). Yes, all of them. This is a Compass I400 infant seat, DOM late 2005. We used it for 4 months or so.

I emailed about it on 3/25. I made the mistake of asking about replacement covers in the same email. They are available, btw. But they didn't answer the question about the stickers.

So, I called on the 29th. They sent a request up to corporate to call me.

I called back today. The request was sent, but no one has contacted me. They don't have replacement stickers (of course). I can't call corporate myself.

So. Do I let it go? Do I write a letter to corporate? Do I report it to the NHTSA as a labeling issue (as previously suggested to me by a tech.)

I'm a little worried about their customer service now. Both reps I've spoken to sounded clueless.

I think I would report a labeling problem to NHTSA if Compass doesn't get back to you in a timely fashion to resolve the issue....

There is no way to replace the labels after they fall off. I'd use tape or something to try and prevent them from coming all the way off, and if any of them do fall off, don't throw them away.

Do report it to NHTSA. The labels are important and should stay on for the entire life span of the seat.

Well... I didn't get to report it to NHTSA.

I sent an email to corporate on the 16th, and the UPS man just pulled up with a Compass box. A "new" carseat, albeit one dated 03/05. (Mine was 05/05)

Nice.

:D
