Question Which booster for my son, Monterey, PW SLG or HB TB. Pics included

Please help me decide which booster to choose for my average height, skinny 6 year old son. We went and took pics of a few today, we drive a Honda Odyssey van and sometimes my son sits driver side middle row and sometimes in the back row, various positions. I am really wanting a latchable booster for him, as he doesn't have the patience to buckle a seat in everytime. He does however fit very well in his brothers HB TB. We went to try out the PKWY SGL, but he really liked the Monterey, and just for good measure I took pics of him in his brother's HB TB that he frequently rides in if brother is not with us. I was surprised that I liked all the boosters he sat in.

I can't figure out how to attach words in a line with pics, so:

1st pic Monterey, 2nd pic PW SGL, 3rd pic PW SGL with SG clip on and lower pic is the HB TB.

I like the fit of the TB on him  I wouldn't consider the other two because the shoulder belt is too close to the edge of his shoulder.
If you really want latchable then I would look at the Oobr, it would fit him nicely.

Unfortunately an Oobr is not in our budget, too many kiddos. I did not feel like the Monterey hit him to low on the shoulder, maybe the SGL did. Here are 2 more pics of the Monterey. Maybe they are better angles.

I can't tell because it's a side picture rather than a frontal picture, but it looks like the Monterey belt is right at the edge of his shoulder. For that reason, I would skip it.

A frontal picture would give a better idea, though.

The TB fit is perfect. :twocents:

Thats how the PWSG fit J exactly (a tall skinny 5 yr old). The TB fit exactly that too. I am buying a TB the next time I catch one on sale.

I think the t shirt is moving around and making it hard to tell about the shoulder fit. Make him go topless!

Funny!! Unfortunately we live in MN and when we got up this morning the temp was 4 degress!! I don't think he is going to go for the topless idea.

the turbo is slightly better, but the shoulderbelt fit on the monterey is still very much in the middle and not far enough to the edge that I think it would come off as it looks like he very much fills the width of the wings.

I would choose the monterey... it looks like he's gonna be tall and probably get broad in the shoulders to me
