ok i read a ton of reviews on the combi shuttle (original up to 22lbs) before i ordered. most of the reviews said great seat..but u need to put WD40 on the "latch" that you pull to release baby from the base or stroller.... well they were right..the handle i have to pull to take the seat out of the base is next to impossible, i need two hands and even then it will violently shake my poor baby every time i take her out of the car/stroller..so is the WD40 safe???

I don't think it is. I think that using something like WD40 can void your warranty. You don't want the seat to come out of the base in the event of a crash and WD40 can put you at risk for that.

thats what i was thinking... maybe i will call their CS and see what they say? or maybe i just need to install the base in my car and make DH remove it over and over again so see if that loosens it up hehe
