Question Looking for pics of FF My Ride taken from the side?

I tried searching but finding a FF My Ride picture on this site is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. :p
I'm trying to guess where the base might sit in my car and how much contact I'll get through the seat back.

No need to run out and take pics. :D If someone has them saved on their computer, that's great. But it's COLD out there! :p

Taken a while ago as I decided to part ways with this seat because of this:

Anyway, Graco says the feet must be touching and this is the best, and most upright, install I can get in my van, 2007 Freestar.

All 4 corners of the base flat? And what about the back? That angle indicator is for FF?

Sorry for all the questions and thank you for the picture. :D

All four corners must be touching. They are barely touching in the back of that picture. The back must be against the seat back. My vehicle is two or three clicks reclined. The indicator is for RF but I am not comfortable having her that reclined forward facing.

it wasnt very reclined at all

(in this picture its not actually installed with the seatbelt yet)

and for comparison, you can see that it really wasnt any more reclined looking than a FF marathon

I sometimes think the MyRide gives the illusion that it's really reclined, maybe it's the shape of the wings or something. Seeing it next to the ff MA is very helpful.

My 2.5 year old is still RFing, but I did try her MR out FF in our car just to see how it fit (which it barely does), but it's so reclined, I felt like DD was laying down when I put her in it. Perhaps I'm used to how upright my older DD's Nautilus is? The MR is definitely more reclined FFing than our EFTA was. I just don't like this seat FFing.

That is why I took a picture of the angle indicator in the FF position. In my car it really is more reclined FF than RF. Sometimes it is only an illusion, sometimes its not. This fall under not every seat fits every car clause. I assume it's only fair though, seeing as how my van is the only year Freestar that accommodates a RF RN ;)

I have a RFing radian in an 04 freestar? Am I missing something?

Do you have a bench in the middle row? Earlier years caused over recline in a middle row bench. At least that is what I was led to believe and I doubted my install for quite some time.

Nope so that must be it. I have leather capt's chairs. Thanks for explaining. I was trying to figure out what I might be missing.

I know it really depends on the vehicle, but I'm glad to see it isn't always way more reclined than other seats.

I bought, and then returned, the MR because the FF install was so reclined. The best I could do with all "feet" touching was 38 degrees. I could get it up to 33 degrees if I pulled the back feet off the car seat, but that's not allowed. I really needed that seat to work, but I just was not comfortable with it FF and that reclined. Oh, it was in an '07 T&C.
