I hope to be flying this airline soon, and decided to check their site out regarding my son. Ds is 4 and will probably be 35# or so when it comes time to fly. this is from the site:
Traveling with Children
What are the ages and restrictions for minors? Children who are between fourteen (14) days old and under age two (2) years old will not be charged if they are not occupying a seat and accompanied by a fare-paying passenger who is twelve (12) years of age or older. These children are considered and referred to as "Lap Children".
What are the requirements for photo identification for children?
The FAA requires all passengers over the age of two (2) to sit in their own seat. Allegiant recommends that children between fourteen (14) months and twenty-four (24) months of age carry a certified copy of their birth certificate with a raised seal to prove their age.
Can I take a stroller and car seat in at the gate?
Each paying passenger is allowed to take a stroller or a car seat to the boarding area. The stroller or car seat can also be checked at the time of check-in. If the stroller or car seat is taken to the gate, it will be "Gate Checked". This means that it will be put underneath the aircraft and will be available upon reaching the aircraft's final destination. It can then be picked up at gate side.
Whay do you think? Will ds be able to ride in a seat like the radian, or will I have to carry it on or check it?
Thanks for your help,
Wendy
