Not really--it's a little more difficult to load a child on that side, but it's really not a huge issue. Keep in mind that you can also easily load rear-facing children through your back hatch.

Are you going to look into converting your van with a bench?

We actually already have a bench seat for the van but that also gets rid of another latch set up and tether anchor. So the front seat wouldn't work with a bench seat behind it. But we've also already discovered that Dodge no longer offers the over ride kit for the front airbags, so we're looking into a different vehicle. I think if a mini-van works it's going to be the Honda Odyssey. Otherwise I may just have to consider letting one daycare child go by next fall

Anyone know what the narrowest booster seat is?
