Can anyone help me find some statistics?

I need comparison statistics from credible sources for US children who die or who are seriously injured aged 1-4 (I think I have this, see below), and for Swedish children aged 1-4 who die or who are seriously injured aged 1-4.

I've been reading and researching for weeks, but the translating program I'm using is making everything take a very long time. I PM'ed Adventuredad last night, but I'm kinda in crunch time with my research paper right now. I've got everything done for the paper except this. I just can't find what I need.

I spoke with my math teacher and she said I need more information, than what I was able to find. She suggested using ratios for comparison in the paper.

I have this: http://www.cdc.gov/safechild/images/CDC-ChildhoodInjury.pdf
Pg's 33 and 98

So, for example, my math teacher suggested rounding and using ratios, so in the US, nonfatal unintentinal injury rates due to transportation related injuries among children would be 7 in every 1000. I need similar data out of Sweden. I found their population, it's just over 9.3 million. I also found that from 1999 to 2006 in Sweden, only 4 kids were killed in rear facing seats (fire and drowning after a MVA was excluded, there were a few more deaths from those), but those kids were 0-3 years old.

Please help?

Are you sure? This article says under 4. http://www.bmj.com/content/338/bmj....NDEX=0&sortspec=date&resourcetype=HWCIT#ref-2

Do you only want rear facing children or what?[/QUOTE

I just need generic Swedish data on how many kids 1-4 are killed in MVA's each year and how many kids 1-4 are seriously injured in MVA's each year.

And... I'm not being clear, trying to type too quickly and leaving out details.

There were 17 fatal accidents.
4 were excluded for unrestrained children.
1 was excluded because post impact fire made seat position and location unverifiable
1 more was excluded because it was mislabeled

There were 11 remaining fatalities, 4 were rear facing children. A 14 month old and 2 year old died from excessive local intrusion, an 18 month old died in a fire, and a 3 year old died from drowning.

I am being clear in my paper though :) I'm just dealing with a vomiting 5 year old, and a ridiculous amount of math homework (she got behind teaching, and it all got piled on us this week to catch up!), and trying to find the statistics in the form I need for comparison to US data.
