Just curious. I see the shell measurements are very similar, but the MA 65 is a "classic" Britax and the RA55 is a "Next Generation".

Does the MA 65 cover fit the RA55?

Silly Britax. I totally wanted to get another Speedway MA65 cover for the RA55 heading my way.

I don't care about slots vs. no rethread harness unless it's a ff seat that will be used for multiple kids. No big deal to me to change the harness slot on a rf seat. Especially if it keeps the seat cheaper for me.
I bought the RA55 mainly for the 40 lbs rf limit. I'm pretty sure YDS will get pretty close to that based on my ODS's growth pattern. They have stayed very similar so far. ODS has about an inch of torso growth left before he outgrows the MA65 rf by height and is just now 40 lbs at 4. Disclaimer: I wouldn't let him ride in a MA65 rf at 40 lbs-that's not safe. I put him in it to compare height.
Anyway, I'm not a fan of any of the RA55 covers, so I was really hoping that a MA65 cover would work, then I could use a Speedway cover on it. I Speedway and I could even totally geek out and have matching seats in my car.
