Re: My MA is coming!!! (question on rf lock offs)

Question for anyone with a new MA...would you look at your rf lock offs and tell me which way they are installed? In my other seats, they hinge at the front of the seat w/the lock towards the back. On my new MA, they are reversed. I just need to know if they've changed the way they work, or if mine were installed wrong. I called Britax, and of course, they are closed.

Congrats on the new seat!! How do you like the blue? I remember a little while back someone (Jools maybe) was saying that Britax allows you to pop out the rf'ing lockoff and turn which way it faces if that makes it work with your seatbelt easier. I think they determined that if you reverse them they close easier. So maybe they are now producing them that way...

I think Britax told the Lifesavers attendees (or someone else who recently called at any rate) that Britax was going to reverse the RF lockoffs on future production runs to make it easier for the lockoffs to stay closed. It sounds like they've made the change and yours is hot off the press so to speak. :)

The blue is nice, reminds me of my old Electric Blue cover, maybe a bit deeper. But I'm not keeping the cover. I have 3 spare Granite covers, and well....the blue just doesn't match my Onyx seats! :D So I sold the cover to a BBC momma to help fund the seat! LOL

I am soooooo glad to hear about the lock offs...I got worried there and posted on every board I know! LOL I'll try it and see. I've never had a problem with them before.
