Well, I turned ds ff today in his radian because he had been complaining the past few times he's ridden rf...he really is squished :( He's a big kid. So, I turned him ff and I had to put the harness to the top slots on his XT  Granted, he still has quite a lot of growing room but still! Oh and I put the longer crotch strap on which definitely helps :)

Same thing with DD - except it's funny - in the XTSL in my car (CR-V) she on the top slots with ~an inch, but she's not even at the 2nd to highest slots in the Radian80 in DH's Durango (she has like a quarter of an inch, but still). I think it's a combination of the XT headrest and the vehicle seats, but that's like 2 inches of harness difference :scratcheshead:

I'm hoping he gets to booster age in his Radian, otherwise I'll get him a ProSport. Wait, what is the top slots on the ProSport, is it 18"?

yep, prosport is 18" as well. A's on the second from top on the prosport, nautilus, and maestro. He's pretty much even with the top slots of the mr, the last time I owned a rn(last winter) he was on the top slots with room to grow though. We'll be getting another fr85 in the future just to be safe.

Oh bummer, 18" on the ProSport :( I had the FR85 and didn't like it. Its so reclined in harness mode and really difficult to get it upright in my vehicle seats. Hmmm...

My dd is 3 years and 5 months, and I think she'd be top slots for forward-facing too. I've been debating putting her forward-facing, cause having her legs all scrunched is causing her fleece jacket to get bunched up by her legs, making it VERY difficult to buckle her.
