Regent question

I have a question that I hope you guys can help me with. Where we live there are open fields, and we got a small field mouse in the garage. We had taken the regent out of the car to wash the cover, and did not realize that the mouse was in the garage. It chewed on part of the foam and padding around the edges of the seat and around where the bottom harness straps go through. Do I need to replace the foam and padding? My ds is above the slot where it chewed, but I did not know if it would still be safe.

I would give the harness a very good look over to make sure mousey didn't take any nibbles anywhere.

I agree on checking the harness. By "foam" do you mean EPS foam (the Styrofoam like type) or was all the mouse got the soft padding? My guess is you can order replacements from Britax... if it was just the comfort padding I, personally, wouldn't worry about it... if it was the EPS foam I would replace it. These are just my personal thoughts though. If you could post pictures that may help :)

I guess for me it would depend on how much they chewed. If there were just a few little marks where they chewed i dont think i would fuss over it, of course as long as the harness was not touched. Since the regent isn't made anymore can you even get replacement parts still? If there is a lot of damage and you can still replace them, then yes i would. Could you post a pic?
