Carseat for 2004 Pontiac Montana

I have a 2004 Pontiac Montana and I am wondering what the best car seat for this vehicle would be. My husband and I are debating over the convenience of an infant seat or a convertable so opinions on that subject would be helpful too.

Are you expecting your child? Will the child be in more than one car regularly? Which do you prefer, an infant seat or a convertible? There are a few convertibles which are good for infants, but for the most part infants fit better in infant seats.

The Safeseat 1 is a very easy seat to install in most vehicles. It goes to 30 pounds, the highest infant seat weight available. It's recommended that you leave your child rearfacing to the limits of their CONVERTIBLE seat, especially since the Safeseat may very well be outgrown by height rather than weight, and there are several convertibles with a higher RFing weight limit and taller shells to get kids there.
