I posted earlier about my neighbor who has the AO Elite and was having problems with it leaning. Well, I went to help her tonight and was really no success. I would have been if she had been willing to move him outboard. Taking it off the base really didn't help much because she didn't like the angle it put her son at (he's 16 months, 18 pounds) - she said it was too upright.
So I basically installed it the same way she had it. I told her that I've read on here that some leaning is okay, but to just keep checking the tightness of the install. It really only leans if someone gets into the seat next to the AO (which doesn't happen often - but is her reason for not wanting him outboard...for the rare occassion someone has to ride back there). I really wanted her to move him outboard - I showed her that it would fit better and she admitted that it would, but didn't want to lose the possible seat.
So I feel I accomplished nothing...
Why will some people agree with you on the whole extended rf thing - but not want to work with you or their seats to get it right???
