Quality of Walmart Seats

When Walmart has seats for significantly less than other stores, does that indicate that the seats are lacking features (comfort or otherwise)?

I'm thinking about getting a MyRide for my daughter. I like a couple of the Target/BRU prints, but I REALLY like the Alma print from Walmart. It also happens to be $30 or so less there.

So... Did they skimp on the EPS foam, or am I good to go?

You are good to go. I have Alma. I use it to RF a 4 year old. It doesn't feel any different than Streamer to me.

They're all the same, different stores different prices, they do that with toilet paper too. It's the same stuff but cost $2 more at one store.

Yep.. I find that it is the same stuff at Walmart as other places.. Yet just cheaper. And sometimes by a lot!

Yeah, but two stores might carry the exact same package of Charmin. When you have car seats that are exclusive to certain stores, it makes you (well, me) wonder if there are actual differences.

But if they're the same, I'm good. Plus it turns out the Walmart one is only $10 less than Target (but $40 less than the BRU one I like).

Apparently some of Walmart's 'same' stuff is different. I've heard of a test where they compared two 'identical' Rubbermaid garbage cans; one from Walmart and one from Target. The ones from Walmart weighed less, because they used less plastic (and so they were also less durable.) Rubbermaid made the cheaper products just for sale at Walmart.

I wouldn't be surprised if carseats and other products were the same (but I believe their essential components; shell, harness, buckles, would be the same, since they couldn't 'cheapen' those without resubmitting for testing.)
