Blvd 70

Well, as much as I don't want to like the new seats, I just received my new Blvd that I bought this weekend and my did it install so very easily with LATCH. I know a lot of seats also install easily with LATCH but even after my tech course this week... and installing all the new seats out there... I have to say that this seat went in just as easily as the old Britax seats and more easily than the other seats out there. When I have more time I'm going to tackle the lock offs plus I need to read the lock off update again. I hope DS2 will adjust to this new seat. He hates the car when he's in an infant seat or a convertible but perhaps he'll like this one. I can dream right!

Also, the new Britax sure gives us a lot more room than other seats when installed RFing. It won't last as long as the other seats but I'm okay with that. I'll replace it with something else eventually anyway.

The lockoff install is really easy to. I love my Marathon 70! I honestly, really, feel like it won't last much LESS time than the old ones, height-wise. My very tall DD has plenty of room to grow. The harness adjuster is a dream.

I will happily post such a pic. He has been napping since I installed the seat. When I get home it will be dark... But in the AM I'll snap some pics.

I am glad you like it! I am looking forward to getting mine, I think it should be here tomorrow. I am not worried about it being too short as dd has a short torso anyway (still on the bottom slot of the Coccoro at 15 months, just about ready to move up to the second slot though.)

Wow! That is a short torso. I think DS2 is on the second slot of his CCO. Can't wait to test out his BLVD though.

Mine came today too. I got up at 5pm for work and saw it was here and thought how much I would like to stay home to play. Then work called and said they don't need me. So we are going out to dinner and I am going to play when we get home!

We got cowmoo. The paisley is pretty but we went with the moo instead.

Liam got a moo Blvd70 too. My mom has a stupidly small backseat for a crossover, and Britax seats seem to be the only ones that will fit back there. She's got a CCO now that I bought her a long time ago but I think I'm gonna have her give it to Shaun when Liam outgrows the KF.

Anyway, I made her buy it yesterday because who could pass up that deal?

It's being delivered tomorrow. We should all post pics!

I hope my FR85 is delivered while I'm still at work tomorrow. It says it will be delivered by 8 pm and unfortunately, this Ontrac company that Diapers.com has used before sometimes comes after we close at 5!

I can't wait to try out this seat, even if it may not be until next year!

I wish I could find a seat that fits RF in my DH's "stupidly small backseat." He has an '07 Tundra and neither the TFP or the MA70 fits!

Does Liam like the car? DS2 has most of the same seats Liam does... but DS2 hates them (CCO, KF... he also has a SS1). Well, I'm don't think it's so much the seats that he hates... as that he's bored. He wants something exciting to do in the car.

So far so good! Installed just as easy as the MA. The 2 times we tried it, the CS did actually click at a good spot. DD1 can almost ride RFing in it, so even though DD2 is on a higher growth curve, I think it will work a decent amount of time for DD2. Gotta say the Emily is PINK! I am not sure if it is brighter than the Tiffany we used to have or just seems that way.

I almost ordered the cowmoo blvd70 too, had it in the cart and everything, but just couldn't commit, of course now, I wish I would have.

Since you asked, here are a few pics. He wasn't too chipper in his seat this morning...

I'm happy with his fit in the seat and the fit of the seat in the car.

I have a crazy pic of him spitting up in the seat the moment I put him in... Trying to decide if it is too gross to post.
