marathon strap adjuster?

Is this normal? rearfacing marathon, next to IMPOSSIBLE to tigthen the strap. Don't have the problem with the Roundabout that's rf'ing right next to it. But it's a pain, I have to take the seat out and pull it down in order to tighten it, so it's kind of a hassle because it's always at the same setting (which is good) but difficult to put on sometimes if she has a fleece jacket or I put a disposable diaper on her or something. Is this normal? I never thought to question it, I just live with it, but after reading the BV threads I'm starting to wonder.

Well, to tighten a MA/BV adjuster, it is a pull release pull realease action. So it can take 3 or 4 pulls to tighten it. Make sure that the clip isnt getting caught in the back either...

If you're used to the RA, the MA will seem much more difficult. I find that it helps to pull the straps from the backside of the seat as you're pulling on the adjuster strap. Then tug, tug, tug.

Yeah that's what I do, I pull the straps as tight as I can up so it's pulling slack, not pulling strap like you can with the RA. I really like the way the RA is, why did they have to change it! :) I feel like I have to be in the trunk to get it, because it's so picky it will only move if you pull it 100% perfectly straight on.
