I have a 3 year old in a FF Alfa Omega. I have twins that are in RF carriers. One is Graco and one is Evenflo. We are looking at buying a 2008 Armada. I want to know if the two RF seats will fit on the 60 portion of the 60/40 split second row. I am not apposed to using the seat belt. Using Latch is preferred, but I really need to fit all 3 kids in this car. Will they fit? My 3 year old will be riding in the 3rd row.

Bumping this up in hopes that some Armada owners might provide some carseat install experience.

From looking at the 3-across thread, there is at least one successful 3-across post for the 2007 armada

That post includes some pretty large seats so I would think you shouldn't have any issues installing the two seats in the 2nd row and the 3rd seat in the 3rd row. You could prossibly even put them all in the second row if you wanted.

Does anyone still need info on three across in an Armada? I have a 2005 Armada and I currently have 3 Britax Boulevards FF across with no problems. I can post a photo if anyone needs to see it! I was successful in the Armada with the following in the 3 across configuration -

2 RF Boulevards and 1 Graco Snug Ride
then
3 RF Boulevards
then
2 FF Boulevards (outer seats) and 1 RF Boulevard (center)
then
2 FF Boulevards (middle and passenger side) and 1 RF Boulevard outer seat behind driver
and now
3 FF Boulevards

We are getting ready to move these seats to a grandparent's car and would like to get the Frontier 85s for our car. The width is the same as the Boulevards. However, the base is not made exactly the same so I would love to know if anyone has been successful with this installation? Looking to install 3 Frontier 85s FF across the second row bench in my 2005 Armada. Anyone?
