Why do we get the fugly Rumi Air (or whatever you re-named it to), and Aussies get this?

It's WIDE, it's squishy. BIG toddlers would fit comfortably. Ok, it only has a 40# harness weight. How about sticking the pillows on an Apex then?

I like that the seat is tilted to help prevent submarining. Does it actually work? How's the booster fit overall?

that is just the prospect booster (which didn't sell well here... and for very good reason...) with the air cushions added.


the booster fit is HORRID (except as a backless for older wider kids)

Yes, it does work, it's actually used in vehicle seats to improve safety (you'll notice how sometimes your knees are higher than your butt in a seat?). The nautilus is actually a good example of the technology, and at least during the TC study it seemed to perform well.

Booster fit with the prospect is poor on most kids IIRC.

Can someone explain what a 6 point harness is, please? The third point down says 6-point safety harness for child 8 kg to 18 kg.

In Australia, their crotch buckle strap is split, for the purpose of no joke "genital clearance".
