So sad--my little girl is getting so big!

I had to move the harness to the top slots of the Husky today. :( She's only 5 years, 9.5 months old!

I had it installed with the recline bar and the second-to-top slots were just a smidge too low for her, so I reinstalled without the recline bar, hoping that the Husky would sit a bit more upright and that would give her a bit more room in the second-to-top slots. But no, not enough. She was still over them. So I had to install a third time, with the straps in the top slots. I put the recline bar back in. I've always had trouble using it before, but it's super-easy in the Windstar middle captain's chair, long belt path, with recline bar.

Why does my little girl have to get so big, so fast? :crying:

Sounds like it's time for a sibling for her!!!!! ;) Just be thankfull she's still little, even though she's big...my 'baby' is 16 and just left to go intern at the local vet clinic. Talk about getting big....:crying:

LOL, yes, a sibling would be nice for so many reasons, but Mark is insistent that we not try for another. We aren't actively NOT trying either, but my PCOS affects fertility and chances aren't very high. If it happens, great, if it doesn't happen, oh well. I'm MORE okay with it happening than Mark, of course. :p

I don't know what I'll do when she's 16 and has a job! That will be heartbreaking. I remember back to when I was growing up and how I could not understand why my mom was so emotional about certain things; I get it now!

Yeah, I know.:( My son being 18 and GOING AWAY TO COLLEGE this fall is freaking me out.
As for Hayley, don't worry, even though she may be getting bigger, she's still gonna be your "little girl" for a long while yet.:)
